Pros

Interacting with new and interesting people every day, from various backgrounds across the board. Having an opportunity to travel on a daily adventure through exciting neighborhoods, projects, people, and gaining inspiration from them.

Cons

Micro-Managed by GM, GM burns bridges with good clients, lack of honesty and communication through out the company, unrealistic expectations and demands, unfairness of sales numbers and set up of territories.

Pros

The product itself is fantastic. Being the world leader in the industry is really exciting, even if you aren't overly interested in the industry itself. Cambria is family-owned, and the ownership is engaged. The family believes in giving back to the community in truly amazing ways. The company growth is astounding. It allows people to really focus on their interests. Everyone is involved in a large number of projects of different kinds, which is great for career/resume building. 401(k) employer match and profit sharing are great benefits.

Cons

Incredibly high stress environment, having a very negative effect. All employees are overworked due to the company growth, and the stress level increases turnover, increasing the work load for the remaining employees. Despite the high stress environment, minimal vacation is given and is not even true vacation, as no out of office communication is allowed, and company cell phones must be answered at all times. No dental/vision insurance and very mediocre insurance options. Flex spending, while helpful, are not a viable alternative for these items. Cambria thrives on direct communication, which normally is a good thing. The problem is that you never know where you stand overall, because you are praised for something one minute and screamed/cursed out the next. No performance reviews, raises, or overall feedback is proivded, again adding to that overall stress level. Despite the growth, it's surprisingly difficult to find promotions. Most movement within the company is lateral, and the company prefers to hire externally than promote within.

Cambria Response

Thank you for your constructive review. We love that you mention the quality of the product, our commitment to giving back and our company growth. These are all very important to us as a company and things we will continue to stand for. In addition to the positive growth of our company, there are also growing pains which you have also mentioned that our company is experiencing first-hand. In response to some of your concerns, we want you to know we are actively working on initiatives to improve workload and overall environmental pressures, which include planning, timing and resourcing. In regards to promotions and raises, Cambria will always reward outstanding performance. Promotions and raises are indeed given when merited and on a regular basis. Thank you. Cambria Management

Pros

Great people, exposure to a variety of projects, awesome product to market.

Cons

Very long hours (too many nights and weekends), difficult culture, too much control in upper management which restricts creativity and flexibility on projects, lack of respect from upper management.
