Pros

Best product in the industry for sure Unparalleled after sale service Cutting edge designs Company car Often get to attend fun events and possibly travel to cool places

Cons

I think the new c suite has really damaged the company. Cambria established itself as the premium quartz brand over years, but in my opinion has failed to live up to that lately. I believe that the failure hinges on a disconnect between the CEO and the c suite, particularly in regards to sales and operations. This infighting has trickled down, and sales is forced to overpromise and while operations is doing what they can, I saw a measurable decline in quality, particularly regarding color consistency, which is unacceptable for a premium product. I also think the company is suffering from tunnel vision. Leadership expects every sales rep to operate exactly like the whole country is Los Angeles. Tons of in person sales calls are required, but with several different routes to market, incomes, and geography, these ubiquitous standards don’t make sense. Leadership has insane micromanagement (cameras in cars, location tracking, ect) to track sales reps every breath, And in order to obtain these unrealistic expectations, the sales team has become an army of yes men/yes women who are forced to alter behaviors to get calls in. Those who wouldn’t play the game were either fired or left which is why there has been such an insane level of turnover. With the emphasis on in person visits, I actually felt that I was becoming annoying to my partners, rather than helpful, but I had to see them in person to get calls in. Market representatives should instead be focused on selling the product. On top of all of that bonus structure is pegged to an arbitrary team goal, with no accountability for individual performance, further decreasing incentives for strong sales.
