      Horrible Experience with HR. I was retaliated against after making a complaint against my supervisor

      Pros

      They have great pay and Bonuses.

      Cons

      Higher management is very unprofessional. They all hardly work and watch each others backs. I was told My complaint to HR about my managers Hostile work environment would be Private and I would not be retaliated against, 2 months later I was fired after 8 years for doing something I was always told I was allowed to do.

      Pros

      Large company that can offer great benefits; they have a large footprint in major areas and allow for the *possibility* to transfer or advance; great training program to ensure that you are prepared for your job.

      Cons

      Regions are overrun with petty, high-school politics. If you're not buddy-buddy with your District Manager, forget any chances for advancement. Even then, the property managers stick around so long that you would have to move cross-country to opportunities to move up.

      Pros

      Benefits are great, easy to make friends, occasional company wide events / team builders

      Cons

      The pay is not the best and they count certain perks as part of your overall income even if you don’t use it, such as the rent discount. Very corporate environment, individualism not highly encouraged, new team members not in line with the former Camden culture.
