Lots of potential, stuck in the past

Pros

The location I worked at was beautiful, and outdoor education is an important industry. The organization has a good mission. Decent pay compared to similar companies.

Cons

Micromanaging leadership, inadequate training at all levels, extremely cliquey in an almost cult like way. Much more concerned with advertising how inclusive they are rather than actually being inclusive. Overstaffed at the management level, constantly understaffed at the seasonal level.

Pros

Camp ran every winter, spring and summer. Great job for students who want to make money during the breaks. It was fun and made it easy to stay active!

Cons

It is a big time commitment if you work every camp season. Good money but you are at camp from 8-5 every day for the whole summer.
