Pros

Canam is a growing company in the steel trusses and girder industry. They always work good hours and give you room to advance.

Cons

Only downsides would be the beauracracy side of the company. They like to keep guys with the most skills underpaid and make false promises.

Hard work

Pros

If you are looking for a place to work hard and with little recognition this is it.

Cons

Sadly there is very little loyalty directed between employer and employee and vice versa. This due to the interaction between the union and company. Very little structured training.

Thank you for your comment. Just to let you know that the Point of Rocks plant has not been part of our company for over 6 years. The name is still similar CSC, but it's no longer part of the Canam Group.
