Pros

It's clear company leadership is committed to making CannonDesign a great place to work. Since our new CEO took the helm last year, a number of new programs have launched solely focused on employee engagement (summer hours, remote working, bonus programs, etc.). Our previous CEO felt very disconnected from employees. Brad is the opposite - he's engaged, passionate and genuine in his belief that design can change the world. You also can't beat the industry recognition CannonDesign has amassed. Fast Company named our firm one of the 10 most innovative design firms in the world in 2017. And it's deserved. I've worked at a number of architecture firms over the years, and CannonDesign's talent can't be matched.

Cons

It's more of an industry challenge, but I'd like to see CannonDesign make some bold moves related to its commitment to diversity. We're making progress, but we could be doing more.

Pros

It has become more and more difficult over the years to identify any pros of working here.

Cons

Leadership has aggressively cultivated a culture of fear, intimidation, and dishonesty. There are constant thinly veiled improvement initiatives which go nowhere because there is no commitment. In fact, the only commitment in this firm appears to the leadership's commitment to enrich themselves at the expense of those who actually work on projects. The organization is extremely top heavy with folks who no longer seem to have any real responsibility to either the clients or to their own project teams. And, the level of dishonesty has gone off the charts. As a baseline example, just do a Google search for "Cannon Design fraud".
