We do think it’s incredibly important for us to work on projects in the cities we call home, but we also see incredible value in working on projects elsewhere, too.       Solid Benefits, Biased Career Development

      Pros

      A large company with big projects, the workers are hard working and driven. There are great benefits regards to continuing education / professional development.

      Cons

      Career Development process is opaque, with unclear guidelines of promotions. It is pretty apparent that there are specific "lines" of people that advance more quickly. There is a lack of diversity, and a disconnect with what is marketed vs the reality of the firm.

      We also know we have work to do in diversifying our workforce, but we continue to make progress. We have a female-majority staff, a female-majority board of directors and we have an intentional, continuous and multifaceted plan in place for hiring underrepresented teammates, specifically BIPOC individuals, at all levels—including leadership. Thanks again for the review. Feedback like this is incredibly important to us.
