I was working at the time in a different department in the corporate building and I applied to the open position and I was approached by a district manager and told me in front of everyone in the department “ I know you have a baby child at home so I understand you want to get paid more” when those conversations can be more discreet. I was introduced to the dental department and did not receive a warm welcome. The Manager said I had to work with a co-worker that had issues with another co-worker before me and was fired. The following days the disgruntled co-worker began to provide me training and later treat and speak to me as if she was my manager. Since I was sitting far apart from the co-worker I was called in to the office for a meeting with the managers and was told I will be fired if I don’t get a long with the disgruntled co-worker. And the manager said that someone from the department said I never say good morning when I walk in to work to the employees. Which always did but never received a good morning back from no one except one employee. After 2 months of doing my sales job I did receive my commission and was told the the manager was too busy with other priorities. After two months I was called in to the office and was told that they did not see any progress and was coming up with lies to hold on to something to try and fire me. I was let go and had to turn in my door entry badge.
