Thank you for sharing your experience at CapTech. I am glad you feel supported as you grow your consulting and technical skills. We aim to be as transparent as possible around compensation and total rewards, and I meet with many CapTechers throughout the year to talk about total comp, bonus structure, salary bands, etc. Please reach out! -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR

Pros

Great people and benefits. Lots of room to grow.

Cons

Too many politics. If you keep your head down and do the work, you’ll be happy with a good work/life balance, but you won’t get promoted.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, as well as your years of service at CapTech! I am glad you enjoyed working alongside our great CapTechers. We recognize that our people have a wide variety of personal needs, and I appreciate you calling out our strong benefits that aim to support our people in many ways. I'd be interested in learning more about your experience on the promotion side, as we do have a strong process and good guidance built around the promotion cycle - please reach out if you're willing to share more - kapostolides@captechconsulting.com. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR

Great company for new graduate

Pros

CapTech is a fantastic place for new grads to start their careers. The company offers a robust training program, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and opportunities to work with smart and talented colleagues. Leadership stands out for its transparency and active engagement, which fosters a strong sense of trust and alignment. While the pay is competitive for entry-level roles, it may not scale as quickly as other consulting firms, leading some senior consultants to seek opportunities elsewhere after a few years. Overall, it's a great place to gain skills, grow your network, and build a solid foundation for your career.

Cons

CapTech is an excellent place to start your career. The robust training programs, hands-on experience, and supportive coaching system are standout features that equip new grads with the skills they need to thrive. However, while the compensation is competitive for entry-level roles, it may not scale as aggressively compared to other consulting firms, which is something to consider for the long term.

Thank you for your review - we are so proud of our Discovery program to help new college graduates start their professional careers in consulting. I love that you point out how open and engaged our leaders are - to everyone in the company! Our newest college hires have amazing access to top leaders in the company as well as at our clients. We do spend a lot of time understanding the consulting environment and are committed to paying people equitably and competitively within our industry. We feel our base salaries, along with our 2x/year bonuses and strong benefit offerings, make for a very competitive total rewards package. We welcome any consultant to have a 1:1 conversation regarding compensation at any point in their career to better understand CapTech's compensation philosophy, salary ranges, bonus potential, etc. If we haven't talked or it's been a while, please reach out! -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR
