Pros

CapTech has the culture and values of a small company, the excitement and opportunities of a start up, with the reputation and national stability of a "big" consulting firm. Great work-life balance, access to leadership (open-door policy), talented, friendly and engaged co-workers and laid back office culture. PTO is consistent with other consulting firms. Maternity leave policy just recently improved to be more competitive with the current trends.

Cons

Like any consulting firm, so much of your individual experience can be determined by the project you are placed on. For what it's worth, the health insurance selection is good, but not nearly as attractive as the bigger consulting firms.

Pros

CapTech is growing at a fast-pace yet working to maintain the culture and values of a smaller company. The employees have been great to work with, and the compensation is very competitive.

Cons

The coaching culture can seem forced, at times, due to managers/coaches not working directly with you on the same project.

Pros

Great company with wonderful benefits and visible leadership. The work life balance and culture are outstanding and really separate themselves from other consulting firms. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved internally with the company and externally with your client and add value as a consultant. The Reston office has the most supportive leadership team I have ever worked with. The open door policy is very refreshing without dealing with the internal politics that most big firms have. Very welcoming, friendly, employee first culture and the practice what they preach. They are open to feedback on ways to improve, which is hard to find these days. They promote professional growth and encourage you to get certifications in areas you are interested in. If you perform well and are engaged, there are tremendous growth opportunities and can move up quickly.

Cons

Sometimes there are growing pains operationally which are as to be expected when you expand nationally, but I am convinced senior leadership has a plan in place to overcome these hurdles. While some might find their client work or projects not as challenging as they hoped, leadership is always there for the employee to do what is best for them.
