Cons

CapTech's business development pipeline lacks robustness and strategic direction. The company appears to be losing sight of its vision for future growth. Moreover, consultants are being tasked with learning a technology when it's in demand, only to switch to another shortly afterward. This approach seems to lack coherence and foresight, potentially hindering the company's long-term success.

Pros

CapTech boasts a solid organizational culture characterized by collaboration, inclusivity, and respect. Team members are supportive and approachable, creating a sense of camaraderie and unity. The rock stars I get to work with on client engagements and internal initiatives are certainly high on the list of reasons why I enjoy working here. CapTech also actively encourages and rewards intellectual curiosity; opportunities for continuous learning and professional development are readily available, which helps foster a culture of innovation and growth. We're also empowered to explore new technologies, methodologies, and solutions to tackle complex challenges. CapTech has a strong list of clients spanning various industries, which showcases its reputation for delivering high-quality consulting services. Working with a wide array of clients provides us with exposure to diverse projects and challenges, which I personally enjoy. The opportunity to collaborate with leading organizations not only enhances one's skill set but also opens doors for career advancement and networking opportunities.

Cons

I don't actually view this as a true con, but some might so that's why I'm including it. To advance as a leader within the company, you are expected to manage additional side-of-desk work effectively. If you're only looking to work on your client engagements, you'll still enjoy your work and the culture, but advancing will be more challenging. This speaks to the entrepreneurial nature of the company, and it's something I personally appreciate.
