Thank you for the favorable comments on our work-life balance. Like any consulting practice, our firm has a variety of projects. and our growth in recent years means that we have a broad range of opportunities available. If you are concerned that the projects that you are allocated to do not fit your skills or career plans, then we encourage you to discuss this with your manager and HR. You should also be aware that the firm has delivered a step-change in its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the last year. We have set formal diversity targets for workforce and Partner composition, appointed our first global D&I lead and rolled out D&I training for all employees, starting with our leaders. Last year we promoted more females into Partner and Executive Director roles than in any previous year.

Thanks for the positive feedback on Capco. We have a wide variety of different projects and if an employee wants to change, they should speak with their manager, HR contact or Resourcing manager.

Pros

smart people, lots of non-project contribution opportunities

Cons

more of a body shop than a consulting firm, relationship based consultancy (work isn’t won off merits, it’s won off pricing discounts and partner relationships) so they don’t get much exciting work

Thank you for the positive feedback on our people and the opportunities that are available to contribute to the firm. We think that a performance process that takes account of the broader contribution that people make to the firm (in relation to diversity, recruitment, development or sustainability, for example) differentiates Capco from the competition. The other comments are a bit narrow. Like any consulting firm, Capco has a range of projects and opportunities but we have more than our fair share of market leading projects involving real innovation and shaping an agenda in financial services.
