Pros

A few good people left doing a few interesting pockets of work. Office is based in a good location near Liverpool street station. Everyone gets a decent laptop and mobile phone. They don't have a lot of people sitting around waiting for projects so your very likely to get onto a project quickly.

Cons

This really is a bad place to work, they don't seem to have any focus on the people, its very much geared towards the stack em high sell em cheap kind of model. They don't provide any decent training or development. Coaching is very poor from the leadership team and most of the senior management are very focused on developing their own empire rather than anything more interesting. Its frankly just a mess on all levels, they have been hiring lots of Accenture people, so if your coming to capco from Accenture you'll probably be fine, but realize your joining a very different firm. If your not joining from Accenture your not really likely to do very well

Pros

* Capco is a engaging company that really focuses on Clients (and therefore delivery) and it's people/community. * It has seen tremendous signs of growth over the past few years and the culture has also grown. * From my experiences and interaction with current employees there are very few employees that are dissatisfied. * The company really encourages entrepreneurship and provides people with all the opportunities possible to drive an idea forward, speak their minds and challenge ideas or leaders * Innovation, networking events, interest groups, community groups are but some of the many activities/ groups within Capco that people may choose to join and be involved in * Employees are encouraged to drive their own careers at Capco and Capco is committed to personal and professional development * Capco is not your typical Big Four consultancy and has never aimed to be. At Capco an Associate can have just as valid point as a Partner and respect is requested at all levels of the organisation

Cons

* Capco is not for everyone, for those looking for a steady 9am-5pm job then this company is probably the right one for you. Some roles are more stable than others however, when a release is due or when a document deadline approaches you may be expected to work long hours * There is an expectation that you want to help contribute towards building and developing the business whether internal or external therefore if you want don't want to do any additional work beyond your "normal" role, again this is probably not for you * Some people may also find the work life balance difficult with so many events, activities and communities, as above if you don't want to socialise with your colleagues and get to know them outside of your normal working hours, Capco may not be the right place for you
