Generally, the management is very good. They're understanding and provide good leadership to junior staff.

Cons

Pay was low, but I could have negotiated for more.

No room to grow in this company

Pros

Not much to say here to be honest. Anything that isn't horrible is just mediocre and not worth mentioning.

Cons

Salary is well below industry standards, employees have no room for growth in terms of their career, company ignores employees' strengths and weaknesses and just assigns them to whatever project, communication between coworkers was horrible, etc.

We’re disappointed to read your feedback. At Capco we offer our employees many opportunities to progress, including a twice-yearly performance and promotion review. We also undertake regular salary benchmarking exercises to ensure our employees are fairly rewarded during the annual employee salary review process. We have a wide range of clients and projects and our resourcing team try to balance employee skills against the client demand. We are a people focused firm and encourage all of our employees to discuss any concerns they have with regards to projects, with their line manager or coach.

Don't join in Poland

Pros

- decent salary - professionals across the globe - some people have been a pleasure to work with and I have learned a lot

Cons

- Polish office has no idea how to develop their talents (at least those working remotely/business contract - no interest in feedback you provide to them - only interest is their short term benefit what will happen in future doesn't concern them at all. Also regarding client contracts - you should go fill a role we have, even though you are not interested and not a great fit - also we don't even have a good job description for it and we don't care about it) - Endless mess - There are set of rules (on boarding on client site, feedback, career development) that already function in other offices in the world but apparently in Poland you can't use what has been developed in other offices - all of the above is causing the good people to leave

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed working with your Capco colleagues, and the benefits of working at Capco. As is standard with other consulting firms, Capco makes an effort to manage and balance employee resources and staffing in relation to client demand. Our aim is to always remain a people-centric firm and to provide options for our people. On occasion, business and client demand mean that an individual may be placed in a role which does not perfectly align with their aspirations. In these instances, individuals are supported by their manager and coach to ensure that they are still able to develop within that role and to transition to a new role when possible. As a global organization, we encourage our colleagues to collaborate and share across regions. We also have dedicated global Corporate Services teams who are focused on driving global standards and consistency across the firm, while allowing for regional and cultural nuances. Contrary to your comments, we have sustained levels of low attrition at Capco Poland and remain focused on engaging and empowering our employees to enable them to build long and rewarding careers with the firm.
