Pros

Nice office location Good vacay policy A few genuine people Experience working with large accounts

Cons

Partners oversell projects and have zero accountability so the brunt of the poor planning falls on the project teams. They take advantage of junior designers and researchers and pretty much bank on you not advocating for yourself. There are so many sycophants who skate by doing little to no work because they are “favorites.” If you’re advocating to do high quality work with the client, you’ll likely be doing it on your own as managers are happy to take the easy route 100% of the time. And I don’t know why this company keeps billing itself as a diverse workplace. Yes there are some Black and Brown people who work there but I didn’t see them in management or at the partner level.

Pros

- Intelligent teammates - low travel

Cons

- most projects are staff augmentation - low impact projects - no clear strategic direction from leadership - nepotism, family members of CEO climb the corporate ladder inexplicably faster than anyone else (e.g. one low impact project lasting 2 months and an analyst becomes senior consultant) - not many people stick around to climb their way up, plenty of horizontal external hires who only stick around for 1-2 years. - Your "bonus" (if you get one) is only fully distributed to you in September (of the following year)

Pros

Some people are great but a lot of politics that play into promotions/projects. Can build your own brand easily as there’s a lot to do and no real structure.

Cons

Some leaders are leaders in name only. Don’t expect short term engagements. Certain offices are very cliquey and can be hard to build relationships. Zero recognition for people who aren’t bringing in business, if you’re good at delivery good luck being promoted.
