Pros

I loved working at this company initially, the work time was flexible, the people were awesome and the projects were fun.

Cons

Once I made senior I started to struggle. I didnt have as easy of a time lining up projects and a lot more of the work was staff aug. I got really burnt out and found it hard to try out other areas of consulting because there wasnt a lot of learning opportunities or accounts where you could grow. The year I got laid off they finally added some more tools for professional development but it was hard to understand how watching a 20 min youtube clip on AI would then help convince a partner to let me in on a project that involves AI. I didnt really see the connect there. I think the last year I was super burnt out and honestly felt stuck. Should have left sooner.

Pros

I have 18 years of banking experience in senior positions, and even though I took a pay cut when I moved to Capco as a Senior Consultant, I don’t regret it one bit. Capco has been an excellent opportunity for me to learn new methodologies and expand my consulting skills, especially given my background in the industry. For anyone coming from a strong industry background, Capco provides a great platform to transition into consulting and apply your expertise in new and exciting ways. The team and leadership are incredibly supportive, and I feel humbled by the trust they’ve placed in me. What stands out the most is the support from the client project managers at Capco—they are encouraging and genuinely invested in my development. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with clients and learning from the talented team around me. If you're looking for a place that offers great learning opportunities, a collaborative environment, and the chance to work with some really talented people, Capco is a great choice!

Cons

A potential area for consideration is the compensation structure. While Capco provides excellent growth opportunities, it might be beneficial to review the pay scale, especially for consultants who bring significant industry experience. Offering more competitive compensation could help ease the transition for those moving from senior roles and ensure that Capco continues to attract and retain top talent.

Pros

Decent option for a temporary job.

Cons

Capco is a third-rate temp agency for washed up wannabes and industry dropouts. Incompetent management, mediocre pay, fancy office! Bold slogans, meager actions. Good luck landing a real consulting job after Capco — you won’t learn any relevant skills there. The work they brag about only accounts for a small percentage of revenue, most of which is generated by dragging out years-long pigeon-hole projects with a few repeat clients. Why work at Capco when you could work in industry for more money with less noise? Truthfully, all Capco does is sign paychecks. If you’re lucky, you might even forget who you work for.
