Pros
Some of the people I work with really do care about the patients and giving good care
Cons
Way too much chaos and disorganization. Basic equipment like commodes and walkers in very short supply. Not enough bedside caregivers - run like a warehouse for elderly frail patients who bounce back from home to hospital to rehab over and over. Upper management only around if joint commission or outside agencies are evaluating or investigating something- otherwise you rarely have any contact. They pay lip service to wanting employees input but they really don't Or can't grasp how to run a hospital properly.
