One of the cons was low pay

Only paid for instructional time. No paid office hours. No paid training. No benefits. Process for submitting expenses is convoluted, which seems to be a feature to reduce having to return or provide expenses. Accrediting board stated our adjunct and part time veterinary and veterinary technicians are pay is one of the lowest in the state. Encouraged to create continuing education programs on my own time with no pay. Not paid to attend weekly meetings. Not paid to learn critical new LMS software with impairs my performance in the classroom. Due to this there is high turnover for part time and adjunct staff. Impacting the consistency and quality of the students education.
