Pros

The Benefits including paid time off.

Cons

The generally hire for people for very specific positions and reasons in mind. It makes it extremely difficult to change positions or advance in the company.

Pros

Everything is perfect about the company, except some of the oversea consultants with pride, power trip and competitiveness for a wrong reasons. Their teamwork sense is terrible.

Cons

Too much restrictions. They really make the consultants feel like they're the outsider comparing to the associates. Too much politic and there's not much you can say if you're a consultant, and your job is really on the line if you say something wrong.

Pros

1. Capital's retirement plan is much better than almost every other company. 2. Capital focuses on a work/life balance lifestyle. 3. People at Capital are overall, genuinely nice. 4. Capital is a strong solid company, and is job security is great by today's standard. Turnover is very low. 5. Capital realizes the importance of employee retention, and it shows, especially as you work there longer. 6. Competitive vacation benefits, and taking time off is not really an issue.

Cons

As with any large company, it can take some time to move up. There is plenty of opportunity, but it won't happen quickly like at start-ups etc. Due to Capital being focused on long term, it takes several years to reach the full benefit and profit sharing status. This is how they keep employees long term but it can tough the first few years since you are getting the maximum bonuses. Keep in my mind though, this is a good problem to have. I work in IT, some people don't realize that we are a financial company not a technology company.
