      - opportunity to learn cutting edge technology - gain experience in new tech - good pay - owner led with great vision

      Cons

      -constant churn in leadership and direction -constant layoffs (call them performance management cycles) -crazy fast paced - with no rhyme or reason -mid management has no understanding of vision, technology or ppl mngmt

      Pros

      Good pay, decent benefits. Nice new office.

      Cons

      Their Seattle office deals with investment banking. I was hired to work on a particular project. After starting it turned out that both the project and the job requirements were changed. What was supposed to be a machine learning project turned out to be a dev ops role supporting what little machine learning they do. They have a ton of security roles you need to apply for and wait forever, and in the meantime they bug you with stupid mandatory training sessions that a child could provide answers for. This place was mediocre, no one seemed to know what they were doing. Save yourself a ton of trouble and go work for someone else.

      Pros

      Only the paycheck. There is nothing good about Capital One.

      Cons

      A ton of politics. Also a 12% mandatory performance management target which basically translates to rampant age discrimination. Place is a snake pit and should be avoided if at all possible.
