Pros

This company is focused on the future. Very tech-savvy, and doing so much more than credit cards. Excellent work-life balance and a CEO that is a founder and has a ton of passion for the business.

Cons

Employment is treated like a 24/7 competition. You're competing with every coworker every day to earn the right to keep your job, and maybe get promoted. Performance management takes up considerable time and causes considerable anxiety. You're considered an athlete competing to stay on the team. This idea is taken to extremes, causing a highly passive-aggressive environment. If you're "in", you're set. If you're not, it's an uphill battle to ever get the chance to break in. Too much time wasted on doing things "beyond your job", selling the idea that "being great at your job isn't enough". Nobody is in charge and everybody has a say. This is great in theory, but when it's time to make a decision, nobody is clearly empowered to make the call so compromise is key. As a result, moving forward means watering down projects to make lots of people feel ok about agreeing to move forward. Decision by committee takes the bite out of innovative efforts.

Pros

They have a ping pong table. It's also not a hard job at all. The snacks are nice. Trying to hit the 20 word count

Cons

Under paid. Physical harassment. No HR. No real engineering or tech culture. Your not actually guaranteed any office space. Promotions aren't based on performance. I've seen them promise people raises to keep them from taking another job, and upon turning down the job they take the raise back. The cons go on and on forever. Saw managers refer to their employees as replaceable and expendable. Some of my coworkers would cry at night because they were so demoralized from being treated poorly
