      Toxic culture

      Great learning opportunities & tools. Nice office with Starbucks on site.

      Cons

      Performance Management - it’s every 6 months and it’s horrible has caused a very toxic environment and no one feels safe and the focus is not so much on work but job security. Extreme high turnover for folks under 3 years. Some people don’t even get proper feedback they are out by 6 months. I am people leader and it suck’s because I cannot even protect my people properly.

      Pros

      The pay is good and the benefits package is fantastic.

      Cons

      Toxic “job family” culture, zero accountability for correction, terrible people leadership and twice annual completely subjective performance reviews. It may seem like they’re always hiring but that is because they are also always firing. I was not fired but chose to walk away from the egregiously toxic culture amidst a terrible job market.

      Good pay but poor management and political environment

      Pros

      The pay and compensation is relatively good. Coworkers are generally quite nice.

      Cons

      Performance management is terrible, and it incentivizes poor engineering practices. Very political, doing good work is not enough. The AI psychosis among upper levels of leadership has also gotten really bad recently. Leadership and management make doing your job really hard.
