Pros

Free clothing and shoes, amazing discount, and great flexibility for schedules. Perfect if you are a student, love to travel, or want to be very part time.

Cons

The pay is not up to luxury retail standards, commission is too hard to make, sales goals are ridiculously high and management is competing with you for sales.

Pros

I tried really hard to find a pro-they do give you one piece of clothing most months but not every month and the manager gets to choose it whether you like it or not!

Cons

no control over your availability-no respect-managers treat employees like 3rd class citizens and laugh at them and belittle them sarcastically-the demand you come in for meetings anytime and at crazy hours-anytime they want with no respect to your schedule-they actually advertise that they DO NOT promote from within-who does that??? This company is operating in the dark ages-so many violations its not even funny! The employee discount is less than the customer discount-what a joke!

Pros

Generous employee discount including for friends & family.

Cons

The list of Cons to this company is so long that it's hard to settle on just a few. If someone offers you a job there say thanks but no thanks unless of course you're a young white woman. Favoritism is the name of the game. The culture is flattering your manager at all time and backstabbing your co-worker. It is a very chaotic workplace environment. No one seems to really quite know what they are doing. I am surprised that the company is expanding as much giving the level of incompetence. The pay is low in the industry and raise is pretty much non-existent. It's almost impossible to move to other positions within the company unless of course you're a young white woman. It's really about who you know & who likes you. Management is unable to offer constructive criticism and help the employees develop. No one really cares about keeping their best employees. There's a very high turnover; every week someone is leaving the company. There is also a lack of professionalism all around. Employees that have been there for a while feel like they can say/do whatever they want & management allows them to behave that way. The workload is very uneven. You have senior employees who spend their whole day shopping and chatting on Facebook while new employees are doing all the work. Management see that but does nothing about it. The HR department itself is a joke. Really, there's nothing good about this company. Don't even bother to apply for a job there. Working at Michael Kors has been one of the biggest mistakes of my young life.
