Communication is bad. I won't find out about a change until months later. By that time it's already too late. It's hard to get anyone to get back to you about important topics unless you hunt that person down and ask. Most of the time the answer is they didn't talk about it yet even though a decent enough of time has passed. If you want to know what's going in you'll have to find out for yourself which is pretty frustrating. If you also want something done that involves a supervisor you'll have to do it yourself.
