Pros
They're pretty flexible schedule-wise, should a family emergency come up; The company prides itself on good attitudes, which compared to other fast food restaurants, we are able to provide pretty well; You'll meet the two extremes in respect to customer personalities: The most impatient, disrespectful kind with little respect for anyone who will make you question your career choices, sometimes even your life choices.. Then the kind who remind you of why you joined a customer service team. These fine customers will teach you, laugh with you and make the long hours worthwhile; As frustrating as being around anyone for 8 hours, six dats a week can be, even the most hostile of coworkers will become your family. Deaths and sickness, we look after each other.
Cons
Over time, it put a strain on my mental and physical health; Managers are either push-overs or hostile; There is a constant struggle for open lines of communication; Behavior issues are not corrected, leading to a free-for-all environment (I.e, consistently showing up 30 minutes - 1 hour late, refusing orders, hostile attitudes from select workers towards coworkers and customers allowed with little to no consequences); Not enough workers, thus working the head workers to exhaustion; Very little effort by management to require closing/opening training; Customers are ALWAYS right, even when they're verbally and physically abusive; You may lose your appetite for seafood and chicken after so many years.
