Pros

Working at CarHop gives you pride every day knowing you are part of a team that gives good people, who nobody else would help, a chance to not only improve their credit while gaining valuable transportation but also enhance their self-asteem. The program gives individuals a chance to overcome obstacles from their past so they can be much closer to that first new car or dream home that is out of reach for those who have less than perfect credit The most satisfying thing in life is to wake up everyday knowing you have a chance to help someone that day while building a great career. It is very satisfying knowing that every single customer that engages a CarHop employee, no matter what part of the country, will be treated with respect and dignity. The Company, from the owners on down, consists only of people who give 100% of every minute dedicated to trying to improve the lives of others and never give up in their effort and service to others. Combining that with the fact that they heavily promote from within , give back to the community, and constantly work to improve everyday for customers and employees alike is very inspiring.

Cons

Locations in 13 states don't allow everyone to meet each other in person even though daily everyone works as a team on behalf of the customers.

Pros

The only benefit of working here was being able to drive the company cars. Unlimited overtime is expected of you, that could be a pro for some people.

Cons

Robbing the hood. Selling garbage cars to people who can't afford them. If a bank won't give a $150 a month loan to someone, why can carhop approve them for $350 a month? They prey on people with bad credit- low income people, people on welfare etc. Over 1/3rd of your monthly income shouldn't go to your carnote! Then once the car breaks down they can't afford to fix it. And the warranty won't cover it. So of course they come yelling and swearing to the salespeople, and the managers refuse to even talk to the customer leading you to be unable to help. I had a hard time not sympathizing: theyre paying $9000+24% interest for a $2500 car! The warranty doesn't cover much at all. Managers don't train and get angry if you underpreform. Absolutely the worst environment I've ever worked in. Avoid at all costs and work for a legit dealer.

Pros

Pay is ok at best

Cons

Many things. Vehicles are terrible. They treat employees terribly. They emphasize on testing the managers right, but not low level employees.
