Pros

"Culture" Kool aid in the beginning - do not drink too much quite yet... yeah pay is good, and it can be fun , until someone has to be thrown under the bus for something that was an executive level failure well before their time.

Cons

yeah you get a good dose of Culture Kool aid when you start lol, but dont let that blur your vision , most the time you will see the red flags staring right at you ,but your so excited to look past them and see the "opportunity" instead , but in the sales world, they are pros at getting you to see past it, blame "bad" previous employees for issues, and when you first come in your thankful for the opportunity- over time the real reasons why this company always seems to starting out like they are brand new will reveal themselves, - this company has been in business over 20 years. Its not that they dont realize something as critical as compliance should have a professional handling it , or a legal dept would be smart, they finally "realized" maybe its important to have a professional handling HR as long as they are up to facing the way the "support center" talks to the employees in the field , there are reasons for this constant "new and improved" "overhaul" and I learned the hard way as many before me did a well. Carhop has lost many amazing people over many years , and they know it , and do not care. there is only one place to look for that reason, and that is at the top. There is a cancer in the organization that has been there the whole time, and no one at the top will address it , that is part of the real culture, the ones that prevents real progress in this company. Managers coming into this company bright eyed, eager and ready to "help people" have no idea what will happen to them over time as a result of the leadership in this company. it will make you question your own sanity after they are done using you.

Pros

Steady income,friendly staff members, great training program. Good amount of daily traffic coming in at every store. Decent turn around for cars getting onto the lot. Reconditioning could be better with the right training

Cons

Managers get lazy and want sales to do everything. Micro mgmt. Terrible clientele to work with. Some are appreciative but most don't care.

Pros

Decent pay and if youre lucky, you could be working with awesome people. If not, you're screwed.

Cons

Working with people that are on the end of the rope. Rude customers, that will cuss you out just because they weren't approved for a vehicle. Long hours. Make 100 calls everyday
