Good Sales Experience

Pros

Carmax is the best car dealer in the industry. Alot of the people you work around are very positive and helpful. You have the chance to make a decent income, and get great Sales Experience. I loved my job being able to help customers and being an expert at What I do. Training is on-going which is phenomenal you learn alot!

Cons

What's very irritating is that the manager's are not all on the same page, there is micro managing and there is favoritism. It Gets annoying after awhile everyone should be treated fair which isn't the case. When there is a new Manager u should never be afraid or intimidated But that was the case which caused employee moral to go completely down, with people leaving or transferring. It's bad when you have to worry about am I getting fired today. There are alot of policies implemented so you have to be careful What you say and do. High medical cost for benefits, and commission should be raised.

Pros

Learned a lot about title work and how to multi task.

Cons

Way too much work for little pay. Very tight on hours, even full timers get their hours cut. Quick to employ people that aren't mature enough for a management position. No job security. Not consistent when reprimanding people for attendance issues. Younger girls working in Business office have attitude problems and don't know how to keep their personal issues out of work.

Pros

The training, culture, integrity. The training provided is top notch and have used this in current life situations.

Cons

Some transactions may take longer than normal due to the stipulations involved and may require you to stay well after your shift is over. You really don't want to pass it off because you have built such a great rapport with your guest that you feel responsible and want to see it through to the end.
