Loved my manger, loved my team, loved the company culture. I worked at Carahsoft right out of college and I learned a great deal working here. Be accountable and loyal and you are good here. Lots of fun, trips and other bonus items.

Cons

Salary is not so great.

Great friends, 75% of employees your age. (22-28), free happy hours, food, trips, and more alcohol--big part of job.

Cons

values/work ethics, food, alcohol, trips etc don't pay rent. didn't get raise after year 1 to compensate for rent increase. overworked, underpaid. no room for growth. If you are not a favorite they will subtly(at first) find ways to push you out. very clear who is and isn't a favorite.

Pros

Great place to start in the IT industry, salary is so low that you can really only live on it if you live at home with parents (right out of college). Put in your year or two here and you can go work anywhere. Also, their non-compete agreement is bogus. VA is a right to work state, you can go work for anyone you want after. If you don't want to burn bridges though, pick a reseller not a competitor or vendor partner. Great atmosphere, with awesome people. Especially if you are from out of town and don't know anyone. Lots of company perks (have to make up for poor pay)

Cons

Your are pretty much chained to your desk, almost a clock in clock out model (without the clock). marketing is treated not as well as sales. Upper management for MOST teams sucks and they tend to dislike anyone that doesn't drink the Carahsoft KoolAid.
