Waste of time, Constant headache, Power trips.
Pros
I met a ton of friends at the company, work on a team consisting of people ages 22-26 who all go out together. Random incentive perks like gift cards, bottles of alcohol, and the promise of the tropical vacation. If sales is the route you want to take with your career, a year here will lead you to many other sales roles. The pros depend on the team, some teams offer decent training and decent experience, you get to build direct relationships with vendors on most teams. If you're afraid of the phone, you won't be by the end of your first week.
Cons
There is no HR department. People are right when they say it's a running joke. You're going to be telemarketing, no matter what they say you will be doing, you will be telemarketing. It's all about how many calls you've made and how many minutes you were on the phone. On some teams only the leads have any work to do despite team members requesting leads delegate work while other teams unload more work than humanly possible with impossible deadlines basically setting employees up for failure. Also, don't bother emailing anything to team members because nobody ever emails you back unless they're pissed at you. No parking, no room for growth, tons of favoritism, low pay, strict hours, teams are not created equally. Don't apply unless you love being unhappy, but hey you get to go to Jamaica or Mexico with the company if you make it through a year... I hope you don't enjoy holidays and time off because you work every government holiday. You'll have people hired a few months before you on ridiculous, unchecked power trips. Also, you WILL owe major taxes come April, even if you think you did your forms correctly.
