Pros

Very cool office space, great benefits, cool location, good coffee.

Cons

Incompetent, under-experienced mid-level managers, zero direction or sense of strategy, high levels of stress and bad attitudes abound. Obligatory Star Wars reference: this is not the company you're looking for.

Pros

You are a good employee as long as you follow all the non sense work your department ask you to do.

Cons

Lacks Leadership skills. Managers/VP's work from home w/o actually being online for 2 hours a day. No Planning of work, lot of the employees gets pressurized for the non sense committed made by the department w/o any proper estimation. Management only knows forwarding of emails and making the junior resources to work. New CEO pleasures. HR doesn't publish the rules rather agrees on their mistakes but will still penalize you. HR doesn't care even if there is a large employee turn over within a department. Lot of hiring and firing. Stop and keep good resources or strengthen the hiring process.

If you're dedicated & self-motivated you will do very well at Carbonite. There is always something new and exciting to work on. The company is continuously trying to improve in all areas with the help & feedback from employees at all levels. Carbonite has some of the most intelligent, hard-working, & driven individuals. I enjoy coming to work every day not only because of the exciting opportunities but also amazing co-workers.

Cons

Open communication & transparency across the organization is an area of opportunity and improvement. Sometimes message seems to become lost as it cascades down.
