Pros

There's room for growth and ability to switch to higher positions. With time you may actually get considered for a higher position. Good stepping stone for employment.

Cons

pay was mediocre. does not offer you a fairer wage if you don't negotiate at interview. If you want to discuss higher pay, you likely will not get it without switching positions. micro manage causing other employees to become stressed.

Pros

Lots of knowledgeable people with many years experience in financial services. Ability to rise the ranks relatively quickly if you're competent; can learn a lot about crediting without extensive schooling here

Cons

Moving up the ranks from the Associate level (entry level) in a department can be difficult due to size restraints, meaning lateral moves to other departments for long term success may be necessary. Many departments resist changes to processes
