Pros

Having joined shortly before and continued working through and after the COVID lockdowns, this company has been one of the few that has wholly embraced the work from home culture. They have practically tried getting people out of the office, where only the bare minimum staff is on site as-needed. The company is incredibly accommodating while I've been here, especially during the year and a half I was taking care of my mother. This company does provide plenty of options to grow and move up, however they don't just hand out department transfers; you definitely need to prove your worth and work hard to show you're worthy of whatever department you're looking to get to. There's a bunch of time you're working separately but together, and most managers I've encountered are overall hands-off. Mistakes are actually opportunities for you to learn and grow, as opposed to other companies that treat mistakes as a chance to hold your employment over your head. If you work hard, they reward you. If you're lacking, they would sooner find a way to build you up to something better than get rid of you - something I've never seen in a company up until now. I consider salary compensation to be pretty good. I've seen people claim it's low, but having worked in other jobs, I consider this to be much, much higher than what I've seen elsewhere. CardWorks has, in the last couple of years, created Employee Resource Groups as well, striving to bring awareness to all sorts of groups - women in business, minorities, those with various disabilities, and even those that are in

Cons

This is a stretch for me to even type anything here: As the company is fairly big, there is a large diversity of personalities here, and as such, while many team leads, supervisors, managers, directors, and so-on are incredibly level headed and fair, there may be one or two you'll encounter that are a bit stricter and may even lean into micro-managing. That being said, I've not encountered a single person 'higher up' that doesn't listen and accept critique in any capacity. The one person I personally had an issue with actually did take feedback to heart when things were brought up to them, and they weren't a problem afterwards.
