Pros

I've never worked for a company that invests so much in their employees. CardWorks believes in promoting from within, which helps to maintain that family culture and encourages development for all employees. CardWorks allows me to drive my own own career, and with hard work and dedication, the sky is the limit. The open communication, mentorship, and support demonstrated by leadership is unmatched, from director level all the way to the CEO.

Cons

Dress warm. The office is freezing.

Pros

As an intern from 2003 - 2008 I was paid $10 an hour to basically do not much of anything. In 2016 I returned as a full time employee. What a mistake. On the bright side...I learned a lot about loyalty in business and ethics or better yet, lack thereof.

Cons

I was provided little to no training as how to “do the job right”. Secrets to success were kept close to the vest at every level. After 3 months and with my first child on the way, I was offered to stay with the company at half my salary and at a lower position. I’m ashamed and appalled on their behalf as an individual who gave almost 6 years as an loyal intern...turned associate. At the end of my last meeting with my boss I requested to be fired, which I was quickly denied. I wish I had more of my teenage years back rather than waste my time for a company that screwed me over 10+ years later.

Pros

The job isn’t difficult and the pay is good. It’s a great to start your career in c/s b/c of all the departments you can learn a lot and move forward with your knowledge

Cons

Well the place is toxic!! The pay is terrible after your first year. B/c you’ll only get one raise a year and it’ll be for 25 cents if your lucky!! They do play favorites soo if you become one your in for good. If your not they will micromanage you until you quit or they have enough to fire you.
