Pros

• Participate in bringing products to market for customers – the products we work on we see in commercials, in print, on Monday Night Football, even during Super Bowl ads – it’s very exciting to help clients realize their vision • We do enterprise implementations, not one-offs, we tackle the hard stuff – full integration with our client’s systems - there is beauty in complexity • We have actual products in Market that people use every day – we do not develop in a vacuum; we get feedback from customers and the market – this makes us better • Fast paced – very refreshing for people who come from large organizations • Flexible work environment; open door policy

Cons

• You have to love complexity – and respect the big picture to really be happy here • Like most start-ups, change in direction does happen, those who are nimble will be happiest here. Concrete sequential does not work well. • Startups are not for everyone – those who are self-motivated will enjoy the environment versus people who want a more structured work environment

Pros

- Fast-paced, challenging work - Nascent industry so no "this is the way we've always done it" mentality - Autonomy - Meritocracy + high growth business = As much responsibility as you can handle

Cons

Many of the pros I listed could be considered cons for some. Per the title of this review, it's not for everyone. There is a lot of work to be done. There are some growing pains that any startup goes through in its evolution to a more mature company so it can be a rollercoaster sometimes.
