COVID-19 response is disappointing. While strong at the beginning of the pandemic, efforts are now lackluster and short-sided. HQ continues to host large, maskless gatherings during a surge, and an initial plan to institute a vaccine mandate was abandoned in favor of waiting for a federal mandate that may never come. Other industry leaders have stepped up to this challenge with success and from a bird's eye view, it seems Cardinal should be able to do the same. Many feel the pressures of multiple commitments throughout the working day and tend to favor quick answers rather than thoughtful analysis and project work.
