      Pros

      While working at Cardinal the structure that was in place was great and depending on where you were working you were givin a ton of support.

      Cons

      Culture is everything, but having a culture at the corporate level and then not having one at the property made cardinal hard to work for. They are stuck in there ways and we not open to new ideas or would not listen if you thought outside the box. Also work life balance is so important and it was lacking heavily.

      Pros

      Great health benefits. Great opportunity to make additional money. Always opportunity to be promoted. 90% of promotions do require you to move to a different state. Good work culture. Time passes extremely fast and making a difference in a resident's life is awesome.

      Cons

      HQ decisions and PM's (portfolio manager) change policies quite often and it effects the day to day operations. Must adapt to a ton of change and often. The hiring aptitude test seems to be challenging because you are often low on team members. Must be able to multitask and work more than your job description. Too many managers and not enough workers. Managers are always pressed for time and have difficulty finding the time to guide the team.

      Pros

      Good Pay and locations all around the country. Upper management is willing to listen to input. Truly values their employees. An amazing internal development team that focuses on your future career goals and growing you as an employee. Lots of opportunities for learning and they have a great training department. If you are ambitious you can really go far in the company. The CEO and COO are very invested in the people, and not just the income. Amazing culture...almost a cult but in a good way. Drink the cool-aid, it's worth it.

      Cons

      HQ is in Denver and it is preferred that you live in Denver if you want to be at he HQ level. Sometimes the time difference is difficult for some team members to grasp and you get contacted after hours.
