Pros

Benefits - nothing else really

Cons

There's no better way to describe the enterprise marketing team than an echo chamber. The new leadership will do everything it takes to take credit from you, belittle you, and throw you under the curb. Employee morale? Productivity? Work life balance? All out the window. To add to that, they will also kiss up to the older leadership (who are extremely territorial and clueless) and make sure you're chastised and outcast if you dare point out gaping holes in the process and/or propose improvements. Compound that with the partners/stakeholders on the business side being absolutely unaware of all the dysfunction in the enterprise team, and you've got a job that keeps your anxiety at an all time high. The employee turnover in the past 6 months is a testament to all the above. The good thing is what's left is a very toxic echo chamber. You want to nod along and kiss up? You'll fit right in.

Pros

it could be advantageous to negotiate a very high salary up front because there is definitely a need for good talent and it will provide something to justify the excessive workload.

Cons

there is no competent senior leadership and many of the staff have left because of this. An engineer was terminated for discovering that a manager was the root cause of a nonconformance and senior management wanted the facts changed to protect themselves from an audit finding.
