interesting work, wide variety of project opportunities

Pros

A chance to work with some big name tech companies, and you can always try something different on your next project. Flexibility in hours and good work life balance. The company supports local charities.

Cons

the occasional 'difficult' client, choice of projects is totally random due to what's available when you're coming off your last one. Benefits could be better.

* Great work life balance * No micromanaging, managers generally take a more hands off approach and allow you to get the work done * Interesting work that changes based on the customer you're working for * Fun office environment and good group of people * Takes care of employees * Allows employees to move into different career rolls and take rolls that will improve their desired skills

* Can be reluctant to discuss adjustments in pay * Mediocre medical benefits

Lots of good people, and a wealth of experience to learn from. Good work environment and benefits. Great opportunities to work on diverse projects.

Cons

Contract engineering (as a whole, not just this company) means that you don't really have ownership of products and you often do not get to see a project through beyond the design phase.
