      Great company plagued by bad management

      Pros

      There are a ton of really bright, creative people working here. The software we build is really cool and fantastic and used by big name e-commerce customers around the entire world. Pay and benefits is pretty good.

      Cons

      The management is very dysfunctional. It starts with having seemingly two dozen vice presidents for a company with less than 150 people. A number of the higher ranking people are longstanding employees who seem to have been promoted because they have been around a long time and not because they are well-suited for management. In fact, there are some outright nasty, rude people in key positions because the CEO loves them. The result is a lot of good people come and go quickly because those who are "favored" in or by management make life miserable for the rest of us newer people. We are also expected to work ridiculous hours and be on call all the time.

      Junior employees are nice, ambitious and eager to learn

      Cons

      Can't say the same about management. Very chaotic, Extremely sexist environment so if you're a female, I wouldn't recommend this organization at all.One of the worst career mistake I ever made.
