Pros

Care Dimensions has always been non-profit and managed from the CEO down to Clinical Managers by former Nurses. We are patient and family care focused and have deep roots in the communities we serve in Massachusetts.

Cons

None that I can think of after over seven years of service.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We pride ourselves in having strong nursing roots, which makes us exceptional at providing quality of care to those who matter most--our patients. We will continue to focus on being a great employer for amazing individuals like you (thank you for your dedication), as well as everyone who joins the team!

Pros

I have been working for Care Dimensions for 6 years and will be with them for many more. Over the years I have only seen improvement in our company. They have decreased our Nurse/patient ratio (to the best of their ability given COVID pandemic), employee complaints/requests are always heard and improved upon unless unreasonable (Nurses making 6 figures are few and far between and probably miserable from the overtime!), and the vacation time available is, frankly, unheard of! As a single, full time working Mom it is super difficult to find enough time in the day to "do it all"! Hospice care is exhausting and Care Dimensions has always been mindful of much needed days off. Management is very reasonable and recognizes that family should always come first. Education is extensive given the sensitive nature of our field and I have never felt unsupported by my co-workers. This was truly impressive to me given that I am alone in my car, traveling to patient homes everyday. I had less support at previous jobs in acute care settings. "Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life." Confucius I cannot say enough about Care Dimensions, from the top down this company whole-heartedly strives to take care of both patients and employees.

Cons

I would say the cons are not really concerning to me as the pros vastly outweigh them in comparison. However, I guess generally I have heard the salary is lower than that of other available RN positions. But for me, it is not an issue even being a single Mom because I believe in my job and I believe in my company 100%.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience working with Care Dimensions. As you note in the “Pros” section of your review, Care Dimensions is a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that is supportive of its staff. We take great pride in all three points. Care Dimensions supports our employees in numerous ways and we believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We do, however, acknowledge that during these abnormal times when pandemic-related staffing shortages persist throughout the health care industry, workloads may be heavier than usual. We are working hard with employees throughout the organization to improve staffing levels and issues that could affect recruitment and retention.
