Pros

Local, regional and C-suite leadership are accessible and exemplary. APPs are uplifted and (at least in the Wichita market) treated as a colleague - not a subordinate. This is a group with whom you can start your career, not just "find a job".

Pros

One of the things I love best about CarePoint is the alignment of the organization's values with my own. As a previous clinician, it means the world to me that we care about our people and the patients that we serve. The work that I get to do at CarePoint feels meaningful and my colleagues are the best!

Cons

Working in healthcare is hard and we experience challenges from time to time but I always feel supported along the way.

Pros

- company prioritizes good medicine and healthy careers (financial health of our providers, happiness and work/life balance, contract stability and long/sustainable careers in a tough market) - no debt/private equity, very low company overhead

Cons

- hospital partners/corporate medicine are difficult in the expected ways (pushing metrics, lack of resources) but I do feel our leaders find a reasonable middle road and advocate for good medicine
