      Pros

      It is a fast paced environment, so everyday has the potential to be different. I enjoy being able to be strategic and work on a variety of projects. The people at HQ are dedicated and I enjoy collaborating with them.

      If you’re not used to or comfortable with working in a fast pace environment, this could be stressful.

      Pros

      Working for CareVet has allowed me to pursue a greater impact on veterinary medicine than I thought possible. My ideas are heard, and my expertise is relied on. Beyond that, the benefits are better than any I could have gotten working in private practice, and my work-life balance has greatly improved. The culture is also much more relaxed day-to-day than I expected, and people, of course, still get things done without being micromanaged.

      Same as at any corporation: sometimes business needs and wants are different things, and it can make you feel stuck between a rock and a hard place,
