Pros

Used to be a thriving organization that cared for its employees and hospitals

Cons

It's sad to see how far the company has fallen. Operations completely failed to manage the hospitals it owned while the company kept trying to add more. It was an endless cycle of buying with no infrastructure in place to handle more capacity. The company resorted to firing tons of employees just to stay afloat

Pros

No pros, run very far away.

Cons

Everything. They lie to their clinics and clients about their finances, they do not care about their employees(with the exception of their HQ employees who seem to be the only people happy with carevet), and they do not care about their clients or patients. Everything revolves around the labor to profitability percentage which never seems to improve despite losing staff and raising prices. In other words, the math doesn't math and we were given no answers and false promises. Do not believe a word anyone from carevet says about profitability because they either don't know a thing or they are lying to cover up how much HQ is spending on itself with their beer keg parties, company paid vacation houses, free HQ lunches, and ridiculous CEO/Board member salaries. They are bleeding support staff because of their choices and pretty soon carevet is going to learn what happens to clinics with no technicians, assistants, or receptionists. They have "Carevet spirit week" and "Carefetti parties" as if that makes techs able to buy groceries or pay rent. Do not work for or with this company. They are going to fail unless significant changes are made starting with reorganizing the leadership and cutting unnecessary HQ spending.

Pros

Fun office, beer, good people

Cons

The company was constructed to better vet clinics via acquisition and living wage for employees. Most of their talking points ended up being no more than talking points once the economy took a turn for the worst. Poor leadership and inability to follow a logical business plan led to a complete crash and burn. The idea was they could have a large HW overhead because they produce large revenue percentage at the practice level to fund the bloated leaderships salary. Once the economy slowed and inflation happened it was realized all the growth was simply organic growth and had nothing to do with the business structure . Instead of reducing spending and focusing on fixing the current hospitals in network they attempt to fix issues by throwing more money at the problem. I don’t see the company lasting much longer, I have already updated my resume in preparation for the next wave of layoffs or total shutdown.
