Pros

Highly Supportive Plenty of Incentive Room for growth College Reimbursement Program for LVTs Carevet has gone above and beyond for me in ways you'd never imagine. I know when we hear the word "corporation" in Vetmed, we assume that it's just another business that sees people as "cogs in a machine". But CareVet stands to prove this theory wrong. I started with CareVet as an assistant, within a year moved into practice management. I was a student in a CVPM program when I started with CareVet, and they took a chance on me early in my journey to HM. They have been nothing but supportive, invested in my growth in my role, and came in clutch for me to relocate me to my new hospital with as minimal stress and financial worry as possible. I really can't stress enough how they came through. To add to this, everyone in the company across all levels has been INCREDIBLY supportive, kind, friendly, and amicable. I have never had a better experience and I can see myself being with this company for MANY years to come. They provide incentive for HMs and hospital staff alike. Such as monthly bonuses for HMs per each KPI margin hit, prizes to win during events like Dog Days Dash, bonus incentives for hospital staff, and plenty of autonomy at hospital level that gives each hospital a means of operating independently - which is nice. CareVet has exceeded my expectations and changed so many perspectives for me. I am forever grateful.

Pros

As someone who had only worked for privately owned companies prior to joining CareVet, I was admittedly nervous about making the transition to a corporate setting. You often hear that in “corporate America,” you’re just a number — but my experience with CareVet has been quite the opposite. I’ve been with CareVet for a little over three years now and truly love this company. From my district managers (past and present) to my VPO and everyone else I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside, every interaction has been positive and supportive. I greatly value the professionalism, encouragement, and friendly one-on-one conversations I’ve experienced here. My favorite part of working for CareVet is that my day-to-day still has a small-company feel. I’m not micromanaged, but there’s a huge team of support ready to help whenever I need it. Being trusted to assist at other hospitals has made me feel genuinely valued, and I appreciate that CareVet provides meaningful opportunities for growth within the company. Overall, I’m incredibly grateful to be part of an organization that not only values its employees but also invests in their success. I look forward to continuing to grow with CareVet and contributing to its mission of providing exceptional care and support — for both our teams and the pets we serve.

Cons

At this time, I honestly don’t have any cons to share about CareVet. Like any job, not every moment is perfect or exciting — but that’s simply a part of life and work.
