      Pros

      Always something to learn when you come into work. In my area, we don't deep-dive into any one portion of the company, so I got a cool survey of nearly everything the company has to offer. Strong company values and looking to improve corporate responsibility footprint.

      Cons

      This is a company for people who are later in their career. There is a focus on development, but I think it's lacking. Slow to move on anything. Compensation just okay.

      Pros

      Opportunities for advancement if you are willing to relocate.

      Cons

      Constantly changing strategies. Expectations of their employees is not reasonable at times. Work and life balance is lacking. Motto is to retain good talent, but that is not followed at all locations.

      Pros

      Many good employees, willing to offer training, low-cost benefits a plus and the CEO, Board of Directors and family members are very active in keeping the company on the right track.

      Cons

      Not all BU's understand diversity in the workplace. Business Unit's do not encourage career changes outside of their own BU. Many of the core BU's that Cargill was built on still have the "Good Ole Boy Club" mentality and feel to them. Doesn't not pay employees what they are worth until the employee has offers from other companies. Doesn't always walk the talk it preaches to employees.
