Pros

Senior management are the same people regardless of audience. That is they do not interface with the hourly employees any differently than they work with each other. Time of change and great opportunities for those who can navigate their way through.

Cons

Cargill is making the transition to business practices already in place in other industries. A substantial amount of change going on = stressful times. Upper management still has the mindset that "I did it so you should too". The right intentions to improve are there but in times of stress they revert back

Pros

Large company, so there are always opportunites to move around. Some locations are excellent places to work; they are not all created equal.

Cons

Poor work life balance, long hours, too many priorities, and poor leadership from mgmt. - This is specific to the plant I work at. Not all plants are necessarily like this.
