      Great to have on your resume not a place to stay long term

      Pros

      Large global company with occasional opportunities for work projects on global teams. Company operates in many different industries including human food, animal nutrition, trading and transportation.

      Cons

      Very slow to adapt to change, opportunities for advancement not usually based on accomplishments or hard work, typically based on personal politics. Not interested in people who possess their own independent thoughts. Despite all of the turnover too many high level positions still being held by people who have never worked any where else and have NO clue how business is done elsewhere.

      You get a paycheck and that's about it. There isn't much more than that.

      Cons

      No training, horrible and hostile work conditions, and NO TEAMWORK.

      Pros

      Employees at all levels are given a high degree of responsibility for the work they do. In the past there has been focus on an inclusive and diverse workforce where all employees matter. Employees respond to being appreciated, give 110%, and make Cargill great.

      Cons

      Cargill seems to have lost the great visionaries of their past. Executive management of today seems to only focus on downsizing and outsourcing and not on what is going to continue to grow the company and move it into the next century.
