Your peers will be great work with. I still have close friends with many I crossed paths with at Carhartt.

Cons

Leadership is very resistant to change. It’s also very political with leadership and management. There is no learning department to speak of and no growth opportunities available for employees wishing to advance into different roles. I’ve also experienced and witnessed HR not addressing discrimination concerns that were reported.

Discount on clothing is cool.

Cons

HR is awful. Nepotism. Zero work life balance if you are hourly. Treated like garbage if you are hourly. Many complaints about higher ups through their “secret” complaint system but nothing ever gets done about it because HR runs it. Senior levels are awful. They hide everything wrong within the department. HR department leadership is the problem.
