There are entirely way to many CONS. I will say the executive management is unprofessional, arrogant, conceited and downright rude. It’s iron fist ruling or nothing. The planning department plans work and has no idea the process in which they plan for and their continuous mistakes only impacts the mill worker. They go home after 8hrs and have every weekend/holiday off. Poor planning on their part is now your emergency. There should be ABOVE THE LINE ACCOUNTABILITY. The hiring process is nonexistent. It was once an aptitude test with multiple interviews and if you’ll work out well in a heavy manufacturing environment and your past experience now its if you have a heart beat. If you enjoy 7 days a week NONSTOP, 16hr shift every 3rd week of rotation, missing every family event, having to beg a fellow coworker qualified on your position to work your shift and yup, his then to so 16hrs for him so you can have off to attend your child’s birthday party or sporting event, working holidays, like being told your best isn’t good enough, enjoy your perks of being an employee taken away, executives telling you it’s not their fault they went to college which is why they get off holidays and you don’t, well this is your type of employer
